It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Allen Blevins (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kirby Allen and Lora Wilson Allen; her husband Oliver Blevins (Charles Nunley); her son Edward Blevins; her great great grandchild Amelia Mae Lee Bennett; and her siblings, Emma Lou Allen, Floyd and Paul Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Holmes (Johnny), Willa Mae Bennett (Jerry), Wilma Wheeler (Don) and Howard Blevins (Merianne); and her grandchildren, Daron Holmes (Tracy), Brandi Holmes (Stacie), Crystal Khalid (Shah), Joey Bennett (Michelle), Donna Fortner (John), Kenny Wheeler, Courtney Blevins, Justin Blevins (Miranda), Edward Blevins (Brittany) and Andrew Blevins. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, and 9 great, great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Service (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
