He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McKinney and Hattie Twiggs McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Julia Ann Burnette McKinney; and his siblings, Lloyd McKinney and Eloise McKinney.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
