With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Beaver (Burnsville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Beaver and Nell Hughes Beaver; his sister Mildred Taylor (Reece); and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy McDougald, Randy Hughes (Joan), Tommy Hughes and Charles Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Beaver; his son Darrell Beaver (Mary Alice) of Sumter, SC; his granddaughters, Maria Carver (Stephen) of Mars Hill and Marisha Cubra (Kenny) of Burnsville; his great grandchildren, Aidan Coleman and Blair Cubra; his siblings-in-law, Robert Hughes of Burnsville, Clifford McDougald of Erwin, TN, Kay Davis Hughes of Spruce Pine and Viola Hughes of Burnsville; and his close friend Wayne McCurry of Ft. Mill, SC.. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Services (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
