He is survived by: his wife Patsy Thomas Hughes; his children, Myra Hughes Byrd (Rick), Jennifer Hughes Boone and Matthew Hughes; his grandchildren, Zach Byrd (Kacey), William Byrd, Morganne Boone, Grayson Hughes and Lauren Hughes; his great grandchildren, Mikenlee Boone, Alyviah Byrd and Mason Hyde; and his siblings, Brenda Silver, Jeannette Silver, Johnny Hughes (Betty) and Timothy Hughes (Margaret).
