She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Sharon Parker Waicus (Jim) of Angier, Jeff Parker of Calypso and Melanie Parker Taylor (Randy) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Stephanie Waicus, Jaime Melito (Mark), Jeff Parker, Jr., Ryan and Rylie Taylor; her great grandchildren, Axeley and Nicholas Melito; her sister Virginia K. Herring of Clinton; her husband James Arthur Parker; and her parents, William H. Kennedy and Dollie Byrd Kennedy.
