He was predeceased by: his parents, Nero Wilson Hardy Sr. and Ida Reeves Hardy; his wife Ruby Mae Moore Hardy; and his siblings, David Hardy, Joyce Hardy and Josephine Hardy.
He is survived by: his sons, Matt Hardy (Rebecca) of Cameron and Jeff Hardy (Elizabeth) of Cameron; and his grandchildren, Maxel D. Hardy, Wolfgang X. Hardy, Bartholomew K. Hardy, Nera Quinn Hardy and Ruby Clair Hardy.
