She is survived by: her parent Hazel Smith (Thurston); her husband Joseph "Joe" Cool; her brothers, David Smith, Jerome Smith and Douglas Smith; her children, Sherry Bennion of Aberdeen and Ronald Bennion (Songi) of West End; her grandchildren, Amanda Bosworth, Rylan Bennion and Adelyn Bennion; and her sister Carol Ranke of New York.
