It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Joyner (Cameron, North Carolina), who passed away on December 19, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Powell Joyner; his children, Jon (Tamara Dale Joyner) of Sanford and Amy (Arty Finkelberg) of Jackson, MS; and his sisters, Peggy Cockrell and Julia Bissette of Nashville, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be sent to one of the aforementioned community organizations or to a church of the sender's choice.
