He was predeceased by : his mother Ellen Elizabeth Jones. He is survived by : his father Clyde Banks Sr.; his children, Katie Flowers and Garrett Banks; his grandson Ezekiel Flowers; his children-in-law, Josh Flowers and Lacy King Banks; and his siblings, Marlene, Roxie, Debbie, Billy and Ernie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, great aunts, great uncles, and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Sanctuary Browns View Church (25 Brownsview Church Rd, Candler, NC 28715).
