It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary R Scott (Candler, North Carolina), who passed away on March 2, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Jane Crowell Scott; his son Jake (Kerie Beth); his grandchildren, Henry, Sutton of High Point, NC, John of Nashville, TN, Josh (Jessica), Izzy and Quinn of Fort Mill, SC; his siblings, Doug Scott (Judy) of Asheville, NC, Linda Meyer of Asheville, NC, Barbara Jean Boone of Asheville, NC, Virginia Saintsing and Delaine Neathery; and his cousin Tommy Plemmons of Candler, NC. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
