He is survived by: his children, Amanda Franks (Blain) and Philip Banks, Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Madelyn of Candler, Oliver of Candler, Henry of Candler and Austin Banks (Sarah) of Candler; and his siblings, Kate Culbreth, Jay and John Banks.
