He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Wade of Whittier and Marquietta Rathbone of Brevard; his brother William Hawkins (Jeanene) of Enka; and his grandchildren, Pam Rathbone, Craig Rathbone, Brent Rathbone, Kelly Rathbone, Sam Wade, Wife Denise, Saundra Wade, Lee J. Wade, Nicholas Wade and Wife Carrie. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
