She was predeceased by: her parents, Colon Epps and Elgie Blake Epps; her husband Elbert Gene Hogan; and her siblings, Don Epps, Thelma Batten and Elaine Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Lynn Hogan (Linda) of Troy, Kevin Eugene Hogan (Kelly) of Troy and Carmen Renee Hogan of Apex; her siblings, Roger Epps (Patricia) of Robbins and Gail Garner (Doug) of Seagrove; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Lindsey, Allison and Amber.
