He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Reno and Goldie Plemmons Reno; his son Jimmy; his wife Margaret Robinson Reno; and his son-in-law Tom Barry.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brian and Anna; his daughter-in-law Connie Reno; his children, Brian of Raleigh, Robin Barry of Waynesville, Annette Reno Haag (Roger) of Columbus and Anna; his son-in-law Collin Hormig of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; his son Johnny Reno (Dana) of Candler; his grandchildren, Corey and Katie; and his sisters, Betty Lee Shepard and Joann Latimer (Ben).
