It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Carter Stewart of Canton, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Carter and Selma Warren Carter; her husband Fred Stewart (Tommy); and her brother James Robert Carter (Bob). She is survived by: her daughter Karen Ledford (Darryl); and her sister Carolyn Fletcher. She is also survived by one Grandchild and 2 great grandchildren.
