Betty Singleton Fryer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2020, at the age of 85, Betty Singleton Fryer of Canton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shaw and Ruby Medford Shaw; her husbands, Hoyle Singleton and Alton "Toby" Fryer; and her brothers, Cecil Shaw and Harry Moody.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Singleton-Smith (Harry) of Clyde, Dwayne Singleton (Paula) of Holly Springs and Darrin Singleton (Camille) of Huntersville; her grandchildren, Shannon Smith (Julie) of Clyde, Nick Smith of Clyde, Sarah Spence (Kit) of Greensboro and Helen Singleton of Holly Springs; and her great grandchildren, Madisen Smith of Clyde and Elizabeth Smith of Clyde. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Fryer's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital. 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis.
