She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Roe Smathers; her son Randal Flay Jones; and her sister Linda Messer. She is survived by: her parent Rosemary Reagan Smathers Garren; her sister Christian; her daughter Sarah Jones; her siblings, Mary Ann Greene, Jeff Smathers and Phillip W. Smathers (Stacy); her brother-in-law Darryl Messer; her siblings' children, Brian, Brandon Greene, Ashley, Joseph Messer, Kristen Rigdon (Colton), Darian and Delaney Smathers; and her great-nephew Lane Rigdon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morning Star Cemetery Maintenance Fund, P. O. Box 1746.
