He was predeceased by: his wife Cindy. He is survived by: his mother Mary Franklin of Waynesville; his children, Kim Stamey (Jason Higgins) of Balsam and Travis Stamey of Canton; and his close friend Jimmy Cogburn. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
