He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Slaughter (Dick) and Goldie Evelyn Slaughter (Stanger); his son Mark Eaden Slaughter; his brother Richard Stephen Slaughter (Reta Mae); his wife Patty Slaughter (Patricia Ann Lytle); his children, Carie Jeanne Slaughter (Phillip) of Canton, Darren Bryce Slaughter (Jackie) of Candler and Curt Allen Slaughter (Kim) of Canton; his sister Barbara Smith (Bob) of Converse, IN.; his grandchildren, Michael Lee Slaughter (Victoria), Samantha Holland (Levi), Bailey Jewel Slaughter and Adison Taylor Spivey; his great grandchild Easton Lee Holland; and his brothers-in-law, Earl Hartwell (Dawn) of Bluffton, IN, Bill Lytle (Tanya) of Waynesville, NC and Robert Lytle (Debbie) of Gulfport, MS..
