It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ledford Cable (Canton, North Carolina), who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph O. Ledford and Helen Hicks Ledford; her husband Alfred "Tommy" Cable; and her son Michael "Micky" Bruce Cable. She is survived by: her children, Peggy McClure (Ken) of Candler, Polly Wright (Bob) of Candler and Joseph "Joe" Cable (Linda) of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
