It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Sessoms of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Pridgen and Bruce Mercer Pridgen (Henry Sessoms). She is survived by: her daughters, Sara Sessoms (James) of Clyde, NC and Lauren Kirk (Anthony) of Raleigh; her sisters, Elaine Webb (Sidney) of Wilson and Debbie Boswell (William) of Wilson; and her grandchildren, Bradley Kirk, Annie and Cyrus Stinnett.
