She was predeceased by: her parents, William Crawford Best and Essie Hill Best; her daughter Angie Ford; her grandson Bryan Stockton; and her siblings, Willard, Max, Ken, Pete, Earl, Ernest, Joe, Junior, Eva Lilly Ferguson, Denise Best and Gertrude Logan.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Stockton (David) of Canton; her son-in-law Bruce Ford of Clyde; her granddaughter-in-law Ronda Stockton of Canton; her grandchildren, Shane Stockton (Melanie), Tonie Nickoson of Canton, Stacey Delancey of Canton, Alex Ford (Caroline) and Andria Richardson (Matt); her great grandchildren, Brooklynn Stockton, Jordan Stockton, Bailey Stockton, Ivalee Richardson, Davis Richardson and Eli Ford; and her sisters, Edna Lentz of Waynesville and Louise McSwain of Mooresville.
