He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess James and Ellamae Summey Reynolds; his son Anthony Howard "Tony" Reynolds; and his brothers, C. J. and Pastor Ted Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Shelba Jene Forrister Reynolds; his daughter Linda Reynolds Stumpf (William) of Waynesville; his sister Jan Hawkins (Harry Lee) of Clyde; his sister-in-law Ann Reynolds of Canton; and his grandchildren, Jackson Cabe and Ryan Cabe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
