He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur "Butch" Corbin Wright, Jr.; his grandparents, Joe B. Thomason, Wilbur C. Wright, Sr. and Reva Boydston Wright; and his aunt Zoolie Wright.

He is survived by: his mother Sheila Thomason Wright of Canton; and his grandmother Wilma Thomason of Clyde. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a multitude of friends.
