He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. "Jim" and Edith Ivester Rhea; his son James "Bo" Rhea; and his granddaughter Gracie Jane Tilley. He is survived by: his wife Freddie Jane Hendrix Rhea; his children, Beth Clark (Jeremy) of Canton, Cary Rhea of Canton, Jamie Kelley (Tim) of Clyde and Reverend Matt Rhea (Tracie) of Canton; and his sister Kathy Pless (Mark) of Canton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
