He was predeceased by: his parents, Bazz Watson and Ada Shephard Watson; his wife Della Maude Watson; his children, Lisa Kirkpatrick and Larry D. Watson; and his siblings, George Watson, Carroll Watson, Geneva Pressley and Berlin Singleton.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Gabe Kirkpatrick (Angelica), Tyler Kirkpatrick, Sydni Anger, Leslie Wood and Amy Bruner; his great grandchildren, Callie Kirkpatrick, Olivia Kirkpatrick and Oliver Kirkpatrick; and his daughter-in-law Kathi Watson.
