He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Thomason and Scottie Stamey Thomason. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Brookshire Thomason; his children, Lisa Brock (Steven) of Salem, Massachusetts, Phillip Thomason (Pam) of Canton and Tony Thomason of Waynesville; and his siblings, Katherine Whitaker of Canton, Wanda Murray of Canton, Sherrill Thomason of Parrottsville and Bruce Thomason of Canton. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
