She was predeceased by: her parents, Urby Wesley and Caddie Warren Medford; her husband Cecil Miller; her grandson Kenny Lynn Johnson; and her siblings, Kate Smathers, Sybil Roberts, Lura Mae West, Thelma Inman, Rose Ellen Hames, Paul, Lane, Joe and Calvin Medford.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Johnson (Ken) of Canton and Russell Miller of Statesville; her siblings, Maxine Liverman of Asheville and Dalton Medford (Aileen) of Granite Falls; her grandchildren, Kaleb Johnson (Lacsey Davis) of Waynesville, Ryan Miller, Shane Miller (Maggie) of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Kendra Johnson of Canton, Keilah Britt (John) of Canton, Tiffany Taylor (Zeb) of Chattanooga, Cheridan of Statesville and Charlotte Miller of Statesville; and her great grandchildren, Zachary Ferguson, J. T. Britt, Perry Miller, Nolan Taylor, Holden, Scout Johnson, Jada Taylor and Maddie Miller.
