She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Watts Peebles and James Harley Peebles; and her husband Tom Brown. She is survived by: her daughter Wanda; her son-in-law John West of Toano, Virginia; her granddaughter Angie West Sims (Wade Sims) of Williamsburg, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Hannah and Ethan Sims; and her sibling's children, Patsy Parton of Canton and Robert Dorlan of Canton.
