She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolphus Daniel and Imogene Gibson Grooms; her husband Jack C. King; and her brothers, Norman Grooms, Carroll and Bruce Kuykendall.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca MacEmcy (Dennis) of Canton and Danny King (Debbie) of Waynesville; her grandson Kevin Seay; her great grandchildren, Jacob and Kevary Seay; her sister-in-law Martha Grooms of Canton; and her cousin Betty Russell (Robert) of Waynesville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
