She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil Carver and Sallie Smith Carver; her husband Ray Holder; and her son Denver Ray Holder, Jr.. She is survived by: her grandson Zachary Holder; her sisters, Lindsey of Canton and Linda Smith (Claude "Buck" Smith) of Canton; and her nieces, Patsy Underwood, Gail Henson, Earlene Moore and Mary. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Mary's memory to one's favorite charity.
