She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Fulton and Terry Smathers Burnette; her husband Robert Harmon Erwin; her siblings, Fulton, Howard, Max Burnette and Mary Wright; and her daughter-in-law Ernestine Reeves Erwin.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Smart (Donald) of Waynesville, Vicki Grooms (Kenneth) of Canton and Tommy Erwin of Candler; her sister Laura Boone of Asheville; her grandchildren, Hailey Medford (Isaac), Craig Erwin and Bethanie Haney; and her great grandchildren, Maddie Lee Erwin, Allie Karsyn and Riley Brynn Medford.
