He is survived by: his wife Martha Burnette Chastain; his sons, David Chastain (Patty) of Canton and Rick Chastain (Cindy) of Canton; his sister Ruby; his grandchildren, Reverend Kyle Chastain (Ashley) of Concord and Angela Chastain Strum of Wilmington; and his great grandchildren, Hudson, Oliver Chastain, Emily and Alaina Strum.
