She was predeceased by: her parents, Berlin Ballew and Mildred Williams Ballew; her grandchild Kelly Scott; and her siblings, Patricia Allison, Ruth Penly, Mack, Frank, Everette and Richard Ballew.
She is survived by: her husband Clay Scott of Canton; her sons, Gary Scott (Lori) of Lenior, Phillip Scott of Waynesville and Jeffrey Scott (Renee); her grandchildren, Mandy Jones, Krista Jones, Kindley, Westin Scott, Jodie Solano, Jeremy Scott, Tabitha Scott, Storm Scott and Asia; and her siblings, Annette Penland of Statesville, Anthony Ballew and David Ballew of Asheville.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Scott's memory to the Beulah Baptist Church MANNA Food Bank Ministry, 483 Sunset Circle, and Canton, NC 28716.
