Shirley Wright Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2021, at the age of 92, Shirley Wright of Canton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Holland Lanning and Donald Mason; her husband Harley E. Wright, Jr.; her half-sister Rachel Lynn Sherlin; and her stepsisters, Roberta Reeves and Frankie Barstow.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Wright (Polly Cable Wright) of Hendersonville, Carl Wright (Jill Satterfield Wright), Lee Wright (Janet Adams Wright) of Savannah, Tennessee and Melissa Wright Truitt (Tom Truitt) of Waynesville; her brother Bill Mason (Marie) of Wingate; her grandchildren, Carol Johnson (James), Josh, Alan (Jalinda), Alex (Diane), Wesley (Sheree), Robbie (Mollie), Natalie, Taylor Wright, Luke (Holly) and Lyndsey Kinsland; her stepgrandsons, Brandon and Austin Truitt; her great grandchildren, Grace, Charlie, Macks Johnson, Atley Kinsland, Emeri, Maddox, Ada, Izzy, Selah, Johnnie and Skylar Wright; and her nieces, Shirley Williams, Brenda Grubb and Rayanna Arthur. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
