With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Medford Hyatt (Canton, North Carolina), who passed away on September 15, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Boyce Medford and Nellie Snyder Medford; and her brothers, Ronnie and Drew Medford. She is survived by : her children, Wendy Hyatt of Canton and Ryan Hyatt (Jennifer) of Clyde; her granddaughter Emma; her sister Janice Medford of Lake City, Florida; her niece Jamie; her nephew Josh (Sabrina); her great-nephews, Darrin, Derick and Dylan; her former husband David Hyatt; and her sister-in-law Debbie Medford. She is also survived by cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home (1 N Main St, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Crawford.
