She was predeceased by: her parents, Erastus Wood and Estelle Morgan Wood; and her daughter Monica Metcalf. She is survived by: her brother Dr. Olin Wood (Rhonda) of Asheville; her nieces, Alana Acker and Raina Wood of Indianapolis, IN.; and her foster son Tim Breedlove of Clyde.
