She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Spires and Raymond Spires; her husband Joseph Walthall; and her son Ron Walthall. She is survived by : her daughters, Stephanie Edrington (Jeremy) and Joyce Lewis; her grandchildren, Chris, Joseph, Jackie, Jeanette, Bobby, Shawn, Hope and Joshua; and her great grandchildren, Brennen, Hayden, Parker, Antoinette, Ayonna, Trey, Amaya and Viana.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory (2226 Lillington Hwy, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
