He was predeceased by: his father Konolius Brunson; and his siblings, Teresa Bannerman, Teresa Murphy, Harold Bell, Lorenzo Brunson and Willie Brunson.
He is survived by: his mother Geneva B. Williams; his wife Sandra Murphy; his son Varan Bryant; his siblings, Priscilla Clark, James Murphy, Konolius Brunson (Diane), Josep Brunson (Barbara), Carl Brunson, James Brunson and Jimmy Brunson; and his close friend Connie Murphy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel (1246 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Poplar Grove Missionary Baptist Church (163 Poplar Grove Church Ln, Faison, NC 28341).
