He is survived by: his wife Jill Butler; his children, Adam Butler of Bladenboro, Christina Hester (Eric) of Bladenboro, Robin Roy (Justin) of Bladenboro, Amanda Johnson (William) of Dublin and Michelle Butler of Bladenboro; his sister Peggy Dowless (Ray) of Bladenboro; and his grandchildren, Caleb, Dalton, Little Eric, Steven, Juston, Freddie, Jason, Joshua, William III, Dylan, Wyatt, Nathan and Jessi.
