It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Ray Hunt of Carthage, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Hunt and Odessa Ashburn Hunt; and his sisters, Elizabeth Faulkner, Treva Smith and Mae McLeod.
He is survived by : his great grandchildren, Dawn, Logan, Amber, Jesica, John, Sadey, Brayden and Ryder; his wife Bernice Bradock Hunt; and his stepchildren, Vicki Diver (Bobby) of Carbonton, Karen Clark of Charlotte and Rick Jessee of Carthage. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
