She is survived by : her husband Demetrius Brown; her daughter Natalie Brown; her parents, Carl A. Wilson, Sr. and Lorine Carr Wilson; her brother Carl A. Wilson, Jr. (Charisse); her nieces and nephews, Gabrielle Wilson, Taylor Wilson, David Wilson, Martin Bynum, Jr. and Benjamin Bynum; and her aunts and uncles, Betty Carr, Montrina Sutton, Lagretta Carr, Catrice Carr, Raymond Carr and Stevie Carr. She is also survived by numerous cousins and many friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Carlton L. Gray Funeral & Cremation Service (2810 Kidd Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
