He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Homer and Eula Littleton Fugate; and his siblings, Carroll, Gerald Fugate and Leontine Love.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Fugate of Cashiers and Lila Stewart of Brevard; and his pet Misfire. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
