She is survived by : her children, Roberta Newkirk of Nashville, Betty Kearney of Raleigh, Brenda Coley of Louisburg, Vernell Allen (James) of Castalia, Joedell Richardson (Dan) of Spring Hope, Larry Wardrick, Sr. (Lossie) of Castalia and Lawrence Wardrick (Felicia) of Winterville; and her sisters, Mamie Bowers of Richmond, VA and Gladys Ferrell. She is also survived by several grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
