He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwin Hawley Sr. and Jessie Pearl Autry Hawley. He is survived by: his wife Jane Harris Hawley; his children, Brian Hawley (Eric) of Winston Salem, Drew Landen (Caroline) of Raleigh and Elizabeth Wegner (Travis) of Wilmington; his granddaughters, Ella, Sadie Landen, Isabelle and Cecelia Wegner; his sister Linda Hawley Fuller of Dunn; his niece Jessica West (Daniel) of Dunn; and his great-nephews, Brandt and Wyatt West.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephens Episcopal Church (201 Denim Dr, Erwin, NC 28339).
