He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence David Suttle, Sr. and Garnie Allen Suttle; his son David Brian Suttles, Sr.; his grandson Clinton Tolley; his brothers, Clarence and Jack Suttle; and his son-in-law Terry Propst.
He is survived by: his wife Janice D. Suttles; his children, Jimmie Tolley of Bethlehem, Debra Crooks of Maiden and Teresa Pope (Jeff) of Catawba; and his brothers, Ray Suttle of Greenville, S. C. and Roy Suttle of Tennessee. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
