It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Gene Childress in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Larry Gene Childress. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Childress; and his siblings, Deby Evans (Reggie) of Conover, Karen Echerd (Eugene) and Robert Childress (Tina). He is also survived by three nieces, three nephews, and seven special nieces and nephews.
