We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2021, at the age of 94, Alyce Catherine Smith Bennett (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), born in Franklin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Eugene Smith and Naomi Hayes Smith; her husband Robert Lee Bennett, Jr. (RL); and her siblings, Bettie Corrine Smith Murphy, Newell, Edward, Marshall, Ira and Julian Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Dietland) of Denmark, Mark (Tonette) of Cary, Tony (Maureen) of Chapel Hill and Alan of Singapore; her grandchildren, Almuth, Raphael (Johanna), Tonya, Tracy (Randy), Rita, Michael (Dayana), Kipp, Abbie, Gabriel and Sara; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Zoe, Cole, Ian, Jonathan, Marlene and Rhett.
