Charles H. Kahn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles H. Kahn of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Kahn and Dorothy Kahn (Goldman); his sister Sophie; his children, Kathryn Lauren Kahn (Michael Varnum), Sarah Kahn (Richard Graf) of Washington, DC and Hon; his grandchildren, Sarah, David, Charlie, Sophie and Christopher; Esther Weinstein Goldman and Birmingham.
In lieu of flowers, family asks that contributions be made in his name to one of the following organizations in Dean Kahn's honor: KU Endowment for the School of Architecture & Design, UNC's PlayMakers Repertory Company, the Southern Poverty Law Center.
