It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Faye Johnson Morgan of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Allen Johnson and Annie Belle Johnson; her husband Billy Morgan; her son-in-law Wayne Jones; and her siblings, Marie Lucas and Bruce Johnson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Jones and Cathy Cochran (Tim); her granddaughters, Heather Purcell (Andrew) and Beth Tyler (Bart); her great grandchild Royce Tyler; and her caregivers, Mary Umphrey, Robin Jones and Rosa Farrish.
